What Makes a Hero?

- Status quo followed by call to adventure, then assistance from someone older and wiser

- departure, crosses threshold from safe home to trials then approaches the biggest ordeal, the hero's worst fear

- crisis, the hero's darkest hour, possibly even dies only to be reborn then treasure and gets special recognition

- result, do monsters bow down or flee?

- then return and new life, he has outgrown his old life

- resolution and status quo upgraded

How to Write Descriptively
